Soup Dumpling Vermicelli Noodles
INGREDIENTS
- 100g (1 bundle) vermicelli noodles
- 1.5 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine (or any cooking wine)
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped
- @eatmila Soup Dumplings around 6-8pcs
- 1/2 scallion, chopped (more for topping)
- 1 tablespoon sizzling hot olive oil (or sesame oil) for the sauce
- 1 tablespoon @eatmila's chili oil (optional)
- Thinly sliced scallions and sesame seeds for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Soak the vermicelli noodles in hot water for 7 minutes. Drain well.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, white pepper, Shaoxing wine (or any cooking wine), garlic, and ginger.
- Heat the olive oil (or sesame oil) in a pan or wok until sizzling hot. Pour in the sauce mixture and stir.
- Place the drained vermicelli noodles on a plate. Top with the @eatmila Soup Dumplings (adjust quantity based on preference).
- Place the dish in the steamer and steam for 11 minutes.
- Garnish with chili oil, chopped scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
