Dumpling troubleshooting

Mastering soup dumplings is an art, not a science!
We're here to help with any issues.

Do I have to use a steamer liner?

We highly recommend it to prevent dumplings from sticking to your steamer and tearing when you pick them up! That’s no fun.

Where are my steamer liners?

5 steamer liners are included in every bag of MiLa soup dumplings. Check the bottom if you can’t find them, they often slide down during shipping!

What do I do if I run out of liners?

No problem! You can also use perforated parchment paper, reusable silicone liners, or our favorite alternative—napa cabbage leaves.

Why are my dumplings deflated?

If your dumplings cook for too long, they’ll expand and burst, losing all of that delicious soup inside. Set a timer for 11 minutes!

Can I stack my steamer baskets?

Yes, you can! To feed a crowd, you can stack up to 3 layers of steamer baskets (with 10 dumplings each) on top of each other. Party on.

Do I need to thaw my dumplings?

Nope. Our soup dumplings are specifically designed to be cooked straight from the freezer, in just 10 minutes.
